Conduct your life in the cloud. Jio Drive is an innovative new personal cloud storage service brought to you by Reliance.
It’s a simple storage bank which seamlessly allows you to browse and share content wherever you are. You can be smart with your stuff and feel secure knowing you’re in control of who sees it. Store and sync all your files and contacts, play music and videos and create beautiful shared boards to show off your life in cloud.
Following material design principles with a mathematical approach to layout and compositions. The use of asymmetry, texture and colour was used to develop a vibrant and dynamic design system that was applied across multiple Jio platforms.
Mobile and Tablet on Android and iOS were the main focus for the app but it was also important that the desktop client and set-top box were also considered.
We created a design system and component library for the Android app.
As we were designing the screens we were building a component library in illustrator in the background (this was just before sketch was released!). We built vector first assets to be mindful of how android devices scale and provided guidance on the foundational elements such as the grid, typography and colour.
